This is a stunning 9ct gold large pear cut pink sapphire and diamond cocktail ring in a size L, US 5 3/4. The sapphire is a beautiful colour, and is a good size, measuring around 1.4 x 0.9cm. There are 4 small 1mm diamonds in total in the white gold surround. (The surround is fashioned so as to give the illusion of more diamonds). The total head size is around 1.9 x 1.3cm, so is a good size. This is a real sapphire, it is not glass or plastic, that has been grown in a lab, and is chemically identical to an earth mined stone. The diamonds are natural earth mined stones. The band is around 2mm wide at the back. It is in excellent condition and is fully hallmarked as pictured. It weighs around 3.6g.
