This is a beautiful antique late Victorian 9ct yellow gold and natural opal bracelet. The opals have a wonderful play of many colours when seen in certain lights, including the prized reds. The stones are whole cabochons (not doublets or triplets) and they are set within a beautifully patterned openwork setting with milgrain and fleur-de-lis detail. The stones vary in size. The central stone measures around 4mm in diameter, the other central ones are around 3mm, and the smaller ones are around 2mm. The bracelet measures around 7 3/4" end to end when laid out flat and 3mm in width. It sits over the 18.5cm mark on the bracelet sizer as pictured, when done up. The centre setting of the bracelet measures around 1.2cm top to bottom. It has a secure push-in locking clasp and is stamped with 375 as pictured. It is a respectable weight at approximately 12g. It will come in the box pictured.
